Internship/Thesis supporting Analysis & Simulation of Winged Space Launchers and Hypersonic Vehicles

In support of design & flight simulation activities of the Aurora space launch and hypersonic vehicle, we offer an internship or working-student position. Depending on the setup, executing the work within a thesis could be possible as well.

Job Description

  • Support aerodynamic & aerothermodynamic analysis
  • Support vehicle trajectory & mission simulation
  • Optionally support internal architecture design (CAD)

Qualifications 

  • Student in aerospace engineering or similar
  • Background in aerodynamics, flight/orbital mechanics, trajectory simulation preferred
  • Very good analytical thinking capabilities
  • Good programming skills
  • Application experience with CAD and/or CFD software advantageous
  • German & English language skills
  • Proactive thinking, high level of motivation, flexibility, resilience & teamwork capability
